This Monday Night dinner series is an exploration of International Cuisine, as captured in Mr. Price's infamous 1965 cookbook, "A Treasury of Great Recipes."
As a connoisseur of gourmet cuisine, Mr. Price traveled the world, frequenting the trendiest restaurants of the day. As a gourmet cook, he was the host of countless dinner parties, serving lavish meals at his home for those lucky enough to get an invitation. So it was no surprise that all those chefs shared with Price their most secret recipes, classified to everyone else, but handed to Price with gusto. He prepared these recipes at home, substituting in the occasional "canned grapes' and "frozen peas", a forgivable offense, being that space-age and modern was all the buzz in the American kitchen.
On occasional Mondays, we offer a 4 course menu, served family style. The original recipes will be referenced and updated with some local seasonal goods.
